The USTA Coaching Education Department has selected Luka Bagos to participate in the USTA High Performance Coaching Program. The May 9th-13th workshop will be held in Orlando, Florida at the USTA National Campus. There are three phases of the program. In order to receive certification of completion, each participant must successfully complete all three phases.
The Preparation Phase: Each coach will receive pre-course work a few weeks prior to the program. Participants will be asked to read the assigned materials and complete pre-course assignments before the beginning of the program.
The Interactive Phase: The program will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 9th and end on Sunday, May 13th by 12:00 p.m. Full attendance is required.
The Application Phase: Coaches will be required to complete a project (a Developmental Plan for a player) and submit it to the USTA Coaching Education Department for evaluation within 3 weeks of the course. Information on the project will be given during the Interactive Phase. Upon successful completion of the project, each coach will receive his or her High Performance Coaching Program Certification.
